Make an immediate impact working with students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist this upcoming school year! Bring your expertise and dedication to help students close communication gaps and achieve their goals in a supportive and collaborative environment near San Jose, CA. This is a full-time opportunity beginning August 11th and continuing through November 10th, offering 35 hours per week to fully engage with your caseload and professional team.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
  • Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain prior to start date
  • Previous experience providing speech and language services within a K-12 school setting is strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Passion for creating individualized plans and supporting diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents
  • Deliver engaging therapy sessions to support communication and academic growth
  • Conduct regular progress monitoring and maintain thorough documentation
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and staff development sessions
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
