A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for a K-12 school setting in San Jose, CA. This contract position spans the full school year (CSY), providing comprehensive speech and language services to students within the district.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in K-12 students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s specific needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Document student performance and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and progress.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and parent conferences to ensure holistic student support.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and staff.
  • Ability to manage caseloads efficiently while maintaining high-quality services.
