Qualifications and Experience
- Active Speech Language Pathologist license in California
- SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow (CFY) eligibility
- Experience working in school settings, especially with preschool-age children, preferred
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement creative, individualized treatment plans
- Passion for fostering growth in young learners
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders in preschool-aged students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with school policies and student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, family members, and multidisciplinary teams to create supportive learning environments
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Deliver both group and one-on-one therapy sessions, adapting to students’ unique learning styles
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights on student progress
