Seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for a full-time contract position within a preschool program. This role involves working with children in a K-12 public school setting from March 30 through June 3, providing specialized speech and language services. The position is based in San Jose, California, and offers a caseload of approximately 14 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for preschool-aged children.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to support student communication goals.
- Document progress and maintain accurate records according to district and state guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience working within school-based settings, preferably preschool programs.
- Knowledge of K-12 school regulations and individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
