A contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist looking to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting. This position serves a diverse student population, ranging from preschoolers through post-secondary students, with a manageable caseload of 60. The assignment runs from June 15 to July 16, offering a part-time schedule of 20 hours per week (5 hours per day, four days a week).

Desired Experience and Credentials:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current or eligible California SLP licensure
  • Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students across multiple age groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and school team members to support student progress
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state and school guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs
  • Effectively manage a caseload of up to 60 students during the contract period
