This contract opportunity spans from June 15th to July 16th, offering a manageable 20-hour workweek (5 hours daily, four days a week). You'll work closely with a diverse caseload of approximately 60 students, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that foster communication and growth.

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP license in California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience with pediatric and school-based populations preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to adapt quickly and manage a diverse caseload across multiple age groups

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide direct therapy and intervention to students with a variety of communication disorders
  • Assess, diagnose, and document speech, language, and communication needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and maintain thorough records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Offer support and guidance to students transitioning between educational levels
  • Participate in team meetings and case conferences as needed
