This contract opportunity is seeking a dedicated professional who enjoys collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to promote student success in communication and language development.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Hold a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students referred for speech, language, and communication concerns
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing each student's unique needs
- Provide direct therapy services in group and individual settings
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents on strategies for supporting student progress
- Monitor, document, and report on student outcomes in compliance with IEP goals and regulatory standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff training, and other school activities as assigned
