School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - San Jose, California

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist serving both elementary and high school students for the 2026/2027 academic year. Located in the vibrant area near San Jose, CA, this full-time role (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) allows you to make a daily impact, supporting a well-balanced caseload of 45-50 students as they work to overcome communication challenges and achieve their educational goals.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Valid California SLP licensure or eligibility
• Open to SLP-CCC and strong SLP-CFY candidates eager for mentorship
• ASHA Certification (or in progress for CFY welcome)
• School-based experience preferred but not required
• Excellent interpersonal skills for working with students, staff, and families
• Organizational skills to manage caseload responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and provide evidence-based treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders across elementary and high school age groups
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support holistic student development
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a supportive, inclusive educational environment
• Support students’ progress through regular assessment and data-driven decision making
