School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - San Jose, California

What You’ll Bring:

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA CCC)
• Experience working with children in preschool to 2nd grade, preferably in a school setting
• Familiarity with IEPs and collaboration within special education teams
• Exceptional communication, organization, and case management abilities
• California SLP licensure in good standing

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Providing direct speech-language therapy to a caseload of approximately 25 speech-only students and supporting an additional 7-10 students requiring both speech and other SPED services
• Serving as the case manager for speech-only students, coordinating services and maintaining accurate records
• Collaborating with special education staff to contribute expertise and support for IEP development and implementation
• Engaging with families and school personnel, sharing progress and recommendations
• Working roughly 23-24 hours per week across 4 days, ensuring continuity and quality of care in this active school community
