Step into a dynamic educational setting supporting young learners’ communication development in a contract-based role tailored for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC). Situated near San Jose, CA, this opportunity places you at the heart of early intervention, working primarily onsite 2-3 days each week with preschool through 2nd-grade students.
You’ll oversee a caseload comprising 25 speech-only students, acting as their dedicated case manager and guiding their progress. Additionally, play an essential part in fostering collaboration, offering IEP support for 7-10 students who require speech alongside other special education services. Expect a flexible schedule averaging 23-24 hours across 4 days per week, fitting for those who value both impact and work-life balance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP-CCC credential
- Experience working in school-based environments, ideally with preschool or elementary-age children
- Familiarity with case management and IEP processes
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Position Highlights & Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted speech and language therapy for preschool–2nd grade students
