Step into a dynamic role supporting elementary-aged students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist! This opportunity is ideal for professionals seeking a specialized position with a focused caseload and meaningful impact. You will deliver expert services to students in transitional kindergarten through fifth grade, providing direct support to approximately 15 children at a single, vibrant elementary location. This contract runs from August 12, 2026, through June 4, 2027, offering part-time hours—perfect for those looking to balance professional responsibilities with flexibility.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Current licensure to practice in the state of California (or eligibility to obtain)
  • School-based experience with children in TK-5th grade is preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with families, staff, and administrators
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a school setting
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 15 students, tracking and documenting progress
  • Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to support student goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of each student’s education plan
  • Provide consultation and training for staff and caregivers as needed
  • Maintain organized, timely records to ensure compliance with educational standards
