Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Current licensure to practice in the state of California (or eligibility to obtain)
- School-based experience with children in TK-5th grade is preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with families, staff, and administrators
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a school setting
- Manage a caseload of approximately 15 students, tracking and documenting progress
- Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to support student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of each student’s education plan
- Provide consultation and training for staff and caregivers as needed
- Maintain organized, timely records to ensure compliance with educational standards
