School Speech Language Pathologist - San Jose, California

Step into an engaging and impactful role supporting young learners for the 2026-2027 school year. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll work onsite with preschool and elementary students, helping them communicate confidently and reach key developmental milestones. This full-time contract opportunity offers 35 hours per week and the chance to build lasting connections with both students and educators.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcome
• California state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, especially with elementary and/or preschool populations
• Strong collaboration, organizational, and communication skills are essential
• Passion for nurturing student growth and engaging creatively with diverse learners

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver screening, assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for students with varied communication needs
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and participate in IEP meetings as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Provide direct therapy services in both individual and small group settings
• Communicate student progress and recommendations effectively to parents, teachers, and other school professionals
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that empowers students to succeed and develop self-confidence in their communication abilities
