School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | San Jose, California

Additionally, a part-time assignment is offered at 3 days per week, starting immediately and continuing for one month.

What we’re seeking:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Hold or eligible for ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Valid state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
• Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Comfortable with individualized education program (IEP) development, assessment, and therapy
• Adaptable to diverse student populations and caseloads

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and interpret results to develop intervention plans
• Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to students
• Write and maintain documentation, including progress notes and IEP reports
• Consult and communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Support student participation and communication within the school environment
• Contribute to a collaborative, positive atmosphere focused on student success
