Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - San Jose, CA

This full-time, contract role runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, serving both elementary and high school students. Working from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, you'll manage a caseload of 45-50 students, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to foster student growth and success.

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Valid California SLP licensure or eligibility
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or candidate for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CF) welcomed
• School-based experience preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates encouraged to apply
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to develop positive relationships with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans
• Conduct screenings, write reports, and track progress
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education teams to ensure comprehensive supports
• Attend IEP meetings, contribute expertise, and help shape student goals
• Deliver direct therapy and consultations as needed, adapting to student and classroom needs
• Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
