Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - San Jose, CA

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid SLP-CCC certification
• Previous experience working in a school setting, preferably with elementary students
• Strong communication and documentation abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated approach to student progress

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy to elementary students, focusing on individualized goals
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations as needed
• Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support each child’s learning journey
• Maintain detailed and organized records of student progress and therapy sessions
• Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as required
• Provide support and resources to teachers and families regarding speech and language development
