Speech Language Pathologist in San Jose, CA

Exciting contract opportunity available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in the vibrant San Jose, CA, area. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Valid California SLP license or eligibility to obtain
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates considered
• Previous school-based SLP experience is highly desired
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse cultural and learning needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
• Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service staff to support student progress
• Monitor and document student outcomes and maintain accurate records
• Attend IEP meetings and participate in multi-disciplinary team discussions
• Deliver services in both individual and small group settings as needed
