  • Valid SLP license in California (or eligibility to obtain)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Previous school-based experience highly valued
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Comfort working with students across diverse age groups and abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, communication, or swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans designed to meet each student’s unique needs
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of student progress and services provided
  • Participate as an active member of Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support student success
  • Provide consultation and education for school staff and families regarding speech and language development
