K-8 Speech Language Pathologist

Soliant has partnered with a school in San Jose, CA, and is seeking a full-time contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the remainder of the school year. 

Requirements:

• Both ASHA-Certified candidates and Clinical Fellows will be considered
• Active CA SLP license (preferred)
• Prior schools experience strongly preferred

Pay and Benefits:

• Hourly W2 pay of $73 to $88/hr, dependent on experience
• Health, vision and dental insurance
• Paid sick leave, accrued at the rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked

As a Speech-Language Pathologist in an education setting, clinicians will:

• Conduct both informal and standardized assessments to determine students' level of speech therapy needs
• Updating progress reports to ensure that students are moving towards their IEP goals
• Write reports based on evaluation results, in accordance with state and federal mandates
• Develop IEP goals in collaboration with District staff and families
• Present evaluation reports and IEP goals at meetings
