This contract begins in August and runs 186 days, with a commitment of 37.5 to 40 hours per week. The position covers a caseload of around 55 students in TK-8th grade, served across 2 to 3 local schools, offering the perfect blend of professional challenge and variety.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Prior school-based experience preferred, particularly in Fine and Gross Motor Skills development
  • Understanding of school healthcare requirements and documentation
  • Experience working with diverse student populations, particularly TK-8th grade
  • Must provide 2 letters of recommendation and a de-identified sample report

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessment and therapy services onsite to a caseload of 55 students
  • Develop and implement fine and gross motor skills programs in school settings
  • Collaborate closely with educational teams across 2-3 schools in the district
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP planning and meetings
