SLP in San Juan Bautista, CA

This contract opportunity has two openings—one role requires travel between rural schools working with students from transitional kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade; the other is based at a single site, providing therapy for preschool children ages 3 to 5. Engage with diverse caseloads and play a vital role in student growth and communication success.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid CA Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Experience supporting school-aged children, particularly TK-8 or preschool-aged, is highly desirable
• Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Comfortable traveling to different school sites in rural settings (for the rural SLP opening)
• Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct evaluation and therapy services to students within assigned caseloads (35-45 students)
• Develop, implement, and track progress on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ communication needs
• Offer training and resources to educators and families for carryover of strategies
• Maintain timely and accurate records in accordance with district and state guidelines
• For the rural SLP opening, travel between school sites as needed
• For the preschool SLP, deliver services at a dedicated campus to children ages 3-5
