You'll have the chance to work closely with PreK students, utilizing your expertise and creativity to help shape their communication skills during these foundational years.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current state licensure
- Experience in a school setting, particularly with PreK-aged children
- Strong understanding of therapeutic approaches and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and assessments for PreK students to identify speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and district standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and services
- Offer support, resources, and training to school staff and families, fostering a positive learning environment
