Ideal candidates will bring the following qualifications:

  • Hold a current Arizona SLP License
  • Possess a valid Arizona Educator Certificate
  • Maintain an active IVP Fingerprint Card
  • SLP-CCC certification
  • Previous school-based speech therapy experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt strategies for diverse student needs and caseloads

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering evidence-based speech and language therapy services to students from PreK through 8th grade
  • Conducting assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development
  • Tracking student progress, maintaining thorough documentation, and adjusting interventions as needed
  • Providing guidance and resources to staff and families regarding communication disorders
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to school initiatives
