Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY) recognized in California
- Experience or strong interest in working within K-12 educational settings
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Expertise in developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Duties include:
- Delivering direct speech and language therapy to students across kindergarten through 12th grade
- Conducting assessments, evaluations, and documenting student progress
- Coordinating and participating in IEP meetings
- Supporting students’ academic and social success through tailored strategies and interventions
- Keeping thorough records of services and outcomes in accordance with school policies
