School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | San Luis Obispo, California

This contract opportunity invites you to make a meaningful difference with a mild-to-moderate caseload of 55 students, working across two school sites—three days at one location and two at another, offering real variety and the chance to build relationships within different school communities.

Qualified Clinical Fellows are enthusiastically encouraged to apply; comprehensive supervision will be provided to ensure a successful start to your professional journey. You’ll focus on direct student services, assessment, and collaboration with teachers and families—no SLPA supervision required, so you can dedicate your expertise fully to the students you serve.

What You Will Need:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid California SLP license or the ability to obtain one
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality support and interventions to elementary-aged students
• Enthusiasm for school-based practice and a collaborative educational environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite speech-language therapy to elementary students with mild-to-moderate needs
• Conduct assessments, write reports, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• collaborate with educators, support staff, and families
• Accurately document student progress and maintain compliance with district and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive, team-focused school environment
