Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
- Valid California state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and maintain thorough documentation
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language services to students with a range of communication disorders
- Complete assessments to determine students’ needs and develop personalized IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing assessment results and progress updates
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes as required by school and regulatory standards
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages student success and participation
