Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
  • Valid SLP license in the state of Texas, or eligibility to obtain
  • Prior experience in a school setting is highly valued
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
  • Passion for fostering student growth and collaboration with other education professionals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to a diverse student population
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams
  • Offer insight and support to teachers and staff regarding speech and language interventions
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, strategy sessions, and school-related activities as needed
