Caseloads vary based on assignment, with ranges from 35-62 for individual SLPs and 60-85 for SLP/SLPA collaborative teams.
Desired Qualifications:
• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license and certification (CCC)
• Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Capacity to manage varying caseloads and adapt to unique student needs
• Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills
• Collaborative approach to working with other professionals and families
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment and intervention plans
Responsibilities:
• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in a diverse K-12 student population
• Create individualized education plans (IEPs) and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to foster student progress
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and comply with school policies and standards
• Provide direct therapy sessions and classroom-based interventions tailored to each student
• Mentor and collaborate with SLPA team members when applicable
