Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting student success as a Speech Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational setting near San Marcos, TX. This role welcomes travel professionals comfortable working onsite and eager to make an impact throughout the academic year, from August 6th to May 28th.
You'll provide essential speech and language services to approximately 60 students, with grade levels from PK to 12th. Assignments are thoughtfully tailored based on your strengths and preferences, with the chance to serve at one or two campuses—including dedicated PK, elementary, middle, high school, and specialized 18+ program settings.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active SLP license and Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience in school-based SLP roles preferred
- Comfort supporting a diverse caseload spanning preschool through high school ages
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work exclusively onsite
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students PK-12
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Deliver targeted therapy individually and in group settings
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports per district requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed
