Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid licensure or eligibility for licensure in Texas
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
  • Experience in school settings strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
  • Compassionate approach and commitment to fostering student growth across diverse populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated support
  • Document progress, maintain case records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Offer guidance, resources, and in-class strategies to support both general and special education staff
  • Serve students in both elementary and select secondary specialized classrooms as assigned
