School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | San Marcos, Texas

Step into a dynamic high school environment where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist can make a significant difference in students’ education and development. We’re seeking both a full-time and a part-time SLP to provide direct therapy, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support students’ communication needs. Both roles are on-site and focused on delivering impactful services to high schoolers.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure for speech-language pathology in Texas, or eligibility for licensure
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC), or candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship (CFY) are welcome
• Previous school-based experience preferred, but strong clinical skills in speech and language therapy encouraged
• A high degree of organization, communication, and collaboration to succeed in a diverse educational environment
• Ability to manage and document caseloads efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver a full range of speech and language services to high school students in an individual and group setting
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop IEPs, and participate in eligibility meetings
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other school professionals to support student success
• Provide progress reports and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and state standards
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices
