You’ll be an essential partner in helping students develop essential speech and language skills, working within a collaborative and supportive team. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP license, or eligibility, for the state of Texas
- CCC-SLP certification or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive working with diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions, both individually and in groups, tailored to meet student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and parents to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in line with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Support the implementation of culturally responsive practices in a bilingual setting
