Step into an engaging opportunity to provide vital speech-language services within a supportive school setting. This full-time contract position is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist who thrives working with elementary-aged students and values collaboration with skilled assistants. You’ll play a key role in helping young learners build essential communication skills from now through June 11th, with the additional opportunity to extend through the full upcoming 2026-2027 school year.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Active California Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility), with CCC or CFY accepted
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric environments is highly valued
  • Proficiency in evaluating, diagnosing, and creating effective treatment plans for diverse speech and language needs
  • Comfortable managing an elementary caseload, including collaboration with an SLPA
  • Strong interpersonal skills for fostering rapport with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic school environments and maintain organized documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech therapy services to an elementary caseload of approximately 45 students
  • Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor progress
  • Supervise and coordinate activities with the assigned SLPA for optimal student outcomes
  • Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and related service providers
  • Maintain up-to-date records in compliance with school and legal guidelines
