Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP-CCC certification
  • Active California SLP license
  • Previous experience as a school-based SLP preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEPs and best practices for assessing and providing speech services
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to documentation and goal setting
  • Consult with teachers and parents to maximize students’ learning potential and progress
  • Maintain thorough records in compliance with district and state requirements
  • Attend relevant professional development and school meetings as needed
