Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - San Mateo, CA

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Valid state licensure as an SLP
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
• This role is for credentialed SLPs; SLPAs will not be considered

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and interpret results
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students
• Maintain timely and accurate records consistent with school district and state requirements
• Collaborate in IEP meetings and contribute to development of student goals
• Engage with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members to support communication outcomes across settings
• Participate in professional development activities as required
