Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited program in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with students’ IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based techniques
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support students’ progress
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decision-making
- Offer consultative support and resources to educators and staff as needed
