Qualifications/Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Valid SLP - CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
  • Active state licensure to practice in California
  • Strong knowledge of school-based therapy best practices and IEP processes
  • Experience working with diverse student populations, including those with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Evaluate and diagnose students with speech, language, and communication difficulties using standardized tools and clinical observations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
  • Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings, adapting activities to meet students’ unique needs
  • Consult with educators, parents, and other specialists to support academic and social success
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to inform team decisions
  • Stay current with professional best practices and continuing education related to school-based speech-language pathology
