Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP licensure in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in an educational setting, particularly working with diverse student populations
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
- Provide therapy through both individual and group sessions
- Engage with parents and caregivers to provide resources and recommendations for home support
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team planning
