This role is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who enjoys working in dynamic educational environments. Collaborate with dedicated education professionals to deliver high-quality services and make a measurable difference in students’ communication skills.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • California SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience working in school settings strongly preferred
  • Ability to effectively assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in a diverse student population
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for both student and team collaboration
  • Familiarity with IEP development, goal writing, and documentation requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication needs within the student body
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support each student’s success in the classroom
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing consultation and guidance to staff and families
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation to comply with legal and school requirements
  • Engage in interdisciplinary teamwork with teachers, counselors, and other support staff
  • Provide training and resources to educators and families to optimize communication strategies
