Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Appropriate state licensure in California (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience working in schools, especially early intervention through middle school preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students, focusing on early intervention through middle school populations
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to support student growth
  • Administer assessments and perform evaluations to monitor and document progress
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate records and therapy documentation in compliance with school and district policies
