Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license for California, or eligibility to obtain
  • Previous experience working in educational settings preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students referred by teachers or parents
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students’ unique needs
  • Provide direct therapeutic intervention in a one-on-one or group setting
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support students’ progress and ensure compliance with IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices
