Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active California SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure
- CCC or CFY status (Supervision available for CFY candidates)
- Recent experience as a school-based SLP preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Passion for working with diverse student populations
- Proficient with assessment and intervention planning
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy for students with a range of communication needs
- Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver targeted interventions in both group and individual settings
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress tracking in compliance with school guidelines
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on speech-language development
- Uphold ethical standards and ensure student safety and confidentiality
