School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | San Ramon, California

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure (or eligibility to obtain licensure) as an SLP
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) considered
• Previous experience in school settings is valued, with knowledge of IEP processes and special education compliance
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to motivate students and adapt therapy to individual needs
• Commitment to working onsite—remote or teletherapy is not available for this position
• Please note: SLPAs are not currently being considered for this role

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to determine speech and language needs, utilizing standardized assessments and observations
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with measurable, evidence-based speech-language goals
• Deliver direct therapy services, both individually and in groups, tailored to student strengths and challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and families to ensure cohesive support and facilitate academic progress
• Monitor, document, and report on student progress toward goals
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing communication with school staff
