Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active (or eligibility for) state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also welcome
- Previous experience with pediatric or school-aged students preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed evaluations for students with speech and language challenges, interpreting assessment data to guide interventions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic disorders
- Provide engaging direct therapy, integrating education goals with clinical best practices
- Monitor progress and maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and other specialists to support holistic student success
- Partner with families and caregivers, offering education and guidance in the therapeutic process
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and school-based therapy practices
