Your expertise will be instrumental in collaborating with teachers, families, and other specialists to promote students’ speech, language, and social communication progress. Hours are guaranteed so you can plan with confidence, and compensation is competitive, ranging from $45–$60 per hour depending on your school-based experience.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active state Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license, or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or relevant pediatric experience preferred
- Previous experience in a school or healthcare setting serving children ages 3–1st grade
- Knowledge of current therapeutic techniques and best practices in early childhood intervention
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans in coordination with the educational team
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ communication goals
- Maintain thorough and timely progress notes and documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert input
- Provide both in-person and/or teletherapy services as needed
