This rewarding contract opportunity is tailored for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) ready to support the academic and personal growth of students during the 26/27 school year.

What you bring:

  • Active New Mexico SLP license required
  • Valid New Mexico PED certification required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience in school-based settings, particularly with elementary-age children
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with educators, administrators, and families
  • Confidence with conducting assessments and creating individualized therapy plans

Your daily impact:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to individual students and small groups
  • Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions tailored to each child’s unique strengths
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services and progress
  • Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings, offering insight and recommendations for student support
  • Collaborate regularly with classroom teachers, support personnel, and parents to foster student success and carry over strategies into daily routines
