Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold (or be eligible for) a Virginia SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
- Experience in pediatric, healthcare, or school-based SLP is beneficial but not required
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
- Passion for fostering communication and promoting student growth across K–12 populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through high school
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with student IEPs
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions to help students achieve academic and social success
- Monitor progress, adjust treatment strategies as needed, and document outcomes
- Partner closely with teachers, families, and special education staff to ensure comprehensive student support
