Talented Speech-Language Pathologists are needed in Volusia County Schools, with immediate openings for the 2026–2027 academic year. Take on a dynamic contract position where your expertise will make a direct impact on young learners’ success across two middle school settings.

Your assignments may include Taylor Middle High in Pierson or Hinson Middle in Daytona—please indicate your preference when applying. These positions begin August 4, 2026, and run through May 28, 2027. You’ll work on-site for 37.5 hours per week, collaborating with engaged staff and enthusiastic students. Clinical Fellows are welcome, with supervision and mentorship provided to support your early career growth. Note: SLPAs or virtual candidates are not being considered for these roles.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Florida SLP license (or eligibility for licensure before start date)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CF) status
  • Experience working in school-based settings preferred
  • Passion for supporting diverse student populations

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education teams
  • Monitor student progress and maintain thorough documentation
  • Support IEP development and participate in related meetings
