Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting middle school students in achieving communication milestones. This on-site contract role is ideal for someone experienced and passionate about making a measurable difference in a dynamic educational environment. The assignment covers the academic year, with a swift start and a defined end date of May 24, 2027.

Your impact will center on a single campus, serving students in grades 6 through 8. You’ll provide intervention and support to a caseload of 60–65 students, collaborating closely with school staff, families, and administrators. This position is best suited for SLPs with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), looking to dedicate their expertise where it’s needed most.

Key qualifications:

  • Valid FL State Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a related field
  • Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to complete all district credentialing, including background check and fingerprinting

Role responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy to students in grades 6–8, adjusting plans to meet individual needs
  • Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and track progress
  • Work closely with educators and families to foster optimal outcomes
  • Maintain documentation in compliance with school and district protocols
  • Provide expertise in communication development and intervention strategies

This contract opportunity offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours weekly with consistent support throughout the assignment.
