School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Sanford, North Carolina

Bring your expertise and passion for helping students to a vibrant K-12 educational setting as a Speech Language Pathologist! We're seeking a dedicated professional for a full-time, contract position supporting learners near Sanford, NC. You'll play a key role in enhancing communication skills and educational success, working collaboratively within a supportive school-based team from late November 2022 through early June 2023.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech, language, and communication challenges. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced SLPs and recent graduates, as clinical fellows are encouraged to apply—with supervision guaranteed if an offer is extended.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• North Carolina SLP license required
• Master’s degree in Communication Sciences or Speech-Language Pathology
• Open to both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFY)
• Experience in K-12 settings preferred, but not required
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment and therapy to students from kindergarten to twelfth grade
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as needed
