Two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists are needed for contract placements: one supporting K-12 students in a specialized public school environment and another focusing on K-5 learners at a local elementary campus. Whether working with a smaller, focused caseload or a larger, energetic elementary group, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping students achieve their fullest potential.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
  • Valid state licensure or ability to obtain North Carolina SLP license
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
  • Ability to manage, organize, and prioritize caseloads
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive classroom environments

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy to students with speech and language disorders
  • Write and maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other professionals to support student success
  • Provide direct and consultative services tailored to each student’s needs
  • Participate in team meetings and share expertise to enhance school speech-language programs
