Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Valid state licensure or ability to obtain North Carolina SLP license
- Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Ability to manage, organize, and prioritize caseloads
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive classroom environments
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy to students with speech and language disorders
- Write and maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other professionals to support student success
- Provide direct and consultative services tailored to each student’s needs
- Participate in team meetings and share expertise to enhance school speech-language programs
