Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active and valid state SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in pediatric or school settings preferred
- Strong understanding of IEPs, evaluations, and school-based documentation
- Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Compassionate, growth-minded, and adaptable to varied student needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy and intervention, modifying approaches per student response
- Maintain accurate session documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to support student academic and social-emotional growth
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Advocate for best practices in speech services and student accommodations
