This assignment calls for an enthusiastic professional to support preschool students, as well as a Mild Moderate SDC classroom, two days per week. You’ll be instrumental in helping children develop essential communication skills, closely collaborating with educators and families in a school-based environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (California state)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Prior experience working in school settings, particularly with preschool and special education populations, is highly valued
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to assess, monitor, and document student progress effectively

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for preschool and SDC students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals
  • Deliver engaging therapy sessions that support a variety of communication needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to optimize student development
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes in accordance with district and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
