A school-based Speech and Language Pathologist is needed to provide specialized support for preschool children and a Mild Moderate Special Day Class (SDC) in Santa Ana, CA. This contract position involves working two days per week, delivering targeted speech and language services within the classroom setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate speech and language abilities of preschool and Mild Moderate SDC students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ communication goals.
- Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to therapy approaches.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) credential for school settings.
- Experience providing SLP services in educational environments, particularly with preschool and special education populations.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and intervention strategies.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
