This contract position is ideal for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist eager to make an immediate impact for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. You’ll work full-time, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 3:15 pm, serving a manageable caseload of 55 or fewer students. The district’s SLP has left comprehensive notes and plans, streamlining your transition so you can focus on what matters most: supporting students.

Ideal candidates possess the following:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current California SLP license and certification
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting, preferably with IEP documentation and assessments
  • Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and effective communication with students, staff, and families
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning atmosphere

Role responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct therapy services based on existing student IEPs
  • Completing ongoing assessments and contributing to IEP meetings as needed
  • Implementing the detailed instructions left by the prior SLP to ensure continuity of care
  • Maintaining thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state protocols
  • Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s individual goals
