What You’ll Do:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students with mild to moderate needs, providing individualized and group sessions.
- Conduct comprehensive speech/language assessments.
- Develop and implement IEP goals that support communication and academic achievement.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, and families to ensure student success.
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress monitoring in compliance with school and federal guidelines.
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expert recommendations for supports and accommodations.
- Serve as a resource and mentor for your school community.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Valid state licensure for school-based practice.
- Proficient in working with mild to moderate communication needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passion for working onsite directly with elementary students.
This position has a consistent daily schedule: 9:00am – 3:10pm. No supervision of SLPAs required, so you can focus on direct student impact.
