School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)

Soliant is working with a school district in the area of Santa Ana, CA, and is seeking a full-time or part-time contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for the 26-27 school year.

Requirements:

• ASHA Ceritificate of Clinical Competence
• Candidates must have either a California SLP license or a Speech-Language Pathology credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
• 2+ years of schools experience

Pay and Benefits:

• Hourly W2 pay of $55 to $80/hr, dependent on experience

• Paid sick leave, accrued at the rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked

As a Speech-Language Pathologist in an education setting, clinicians will:

• Conduct informal and standardized assessments to determine students' level of speech therapy needs
• Write reports based on evaluation results, in accordance with state and federal mandates
• Develop IEP goals in collaboration with District staff and families
• Recommend services appropriate to student and school settings in IEP meetings
• Update progress reports to ensure that students are moving towards their IEP goals
• Complete medical billing paperwork as needed
