Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior experience in a school setting, preferably with ESY or summer school programming
- Strong interpersonal skills with students, families, and educational staff
- Ability to create and track individualized therapy plans
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students participating in ESY services
- Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals for communication needs
- Document student progress and maintain comprehensive records in compliance with school and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers and other service providers to support educational progress
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student goals and achievements
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment
